Profile

I graduated in architecture in the year 2005 from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, following which I worked with Laing O Rourke construction Plc. at their Gurgaon office and their London office. Working at the London office of the Multinational Construction Company, I realized the value of technology in the construction industry and the role it can played in architecture and the design industry. I joined Mokha financial and industrial consultants in 2007 as a director technical and set up a branch office in Raipur. I was instrumental in the implementation of Building information Modelling (BIM) in the firm. We are using BIM platform extensively in designing and execution of industrial projects spread over Chhattisgarh and Orissa. The BIM platform helps in achieving better co-ordination with various consultants spread across different cities in India. Over the years, I have gained an expertise of designing and executing several large industrial projects spread across Chhattisgarh and Orissa, some of them include a Solvent extraction plant spread over 40 acres in Chhattisgarh, a back up power plant for M/s Balco , NMDC & M/s Vedanta to name a few.

In a desire to explore more in the field of architecture, I along with fellow architect Shreya Pal Sharma started a design firm named Raipur Ink, in the year 2012. The firm focusses on designing luxury residences and interiors. Since the inception, we have worked on individual residences with a built up area ranging from 500 sq. ft to 30,000 sq.ft.

Apart from valuation practice, I am currently holding a position of hon secretary in Raipur center of Indian Institute of Architects and also played a vital role in establishing the Raipur center for Indian Institute of Interior Designers Raipur Centre.

I have always believed that One should never stop leaning and exploring. In the quest to learn ,I have attended several workshops in India and abroad. I also did a world tour alone starting from India to all the way to Brazil. Passing through UAE, Italy, Holland, France, Spain, Portugal , Switzerland experiencing different cultures and interacting with people . I also have done several bike tours to Leh, Lahaul Spiti , Zanskar valley, Kanha ,Shillong , and Kaziranga National park to name a few.

I am also actively involved in teaching and take regular lectures in architecture and interior design colleges. I have also served as visiting faculty at NIT, Raipur from 2014-2017.
