Throughout his career, he has built a diverse and impressive portfolio that includes projects such as individual residences, cinema halls, hospital buildings, industrial buildings, residential apartments, community halls, holiday resorts, engineering colleges, and nursing homes. In addition to his professional practice, Ar. Shiyam has made significant contributions to architectural education. He has served as a visiting faculty member at local engineering and architecture colleges, where he has mentored and guided aspiring architects, sharing his vast knowledge and experience with the next generation of professionals.

Ar. Shiyam had the honor of serving as the Chairman for the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Madurai Center from 2021 to 2023.
